Environmental Policy Statement

Matador is a supplier of vehicle windscreen wiper systems and recognises its responsibilities towards both the local and global environment in which it carries out its business. It is our aim to comply with the relevant local, national and international legislation and directives to avoid any adverse effect of its products on the environment.

Our principle objectives include:

• Prevention of POLLUTION including elimination in the use of heavy metals, for example, lead, cadmium and hexavalent chromium.
• Minimise WASTE by ensuring our products are produced by the most energy efficient process possible as well as being continuously improved by design for longer life to maximize the use of the resources originally employed.
• Actively promote RECYCLING of our products through facilitating preventative maintenance, overhaul and service exchange scheme all of which have the added benefit of reducing life cycle costs.
• Minimise TOXIC emissions through the selection and use of materials and processes that do not employ substances that are harmful to the environment.
• Promote the benefits of the Environmental POLICY to all of its employees, suppliers and customers.
• Meet or exceed all of the environmental LEGISLATION that relates to the Company and its business.
